Cost 2020 : $ 54 for crossbow certification only, including the written test
This course is mandatory for those who want to exercise their right to hunt with a bow or a crossbow. It provides the basic knowledge of safety, duties and obligations of hunters in order to preserve wildlife, the natural environment and other citizens. It is for anyone aged 12 and over (as of the date of the course). To obtain the Quebec Hunter’s Certificate, "crossbow only" category, simply complete the course and pass the written exam.
To qualify for the bow, you must also pass the Practical Bow Test (ARCP), available separately or in combination with IHBC.
