*** If you apply for the Quebec Hunter's Certificate, you will already take this course ***
For restricted firearms (pistols and revolvers) you must take in addition to the CFSC the Restricted Weapons Course (CFSCRF), offered by the Fédération québécoise de tir.
Certification obtained following the success of this course :
The Certificat de réussite (certificate of achievement) is a document issued by Sécurité nature to those who have passed the CFSC but do not intend to apply for the Quebec Hunter's Certificate. In Quebec, it replaces the Canadian Uniform Firearms Safety Course Report (RCMP Form 5484 / CAFC 332) used in other provinces. It is used to complete the Firearms Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) application form as proof of successful completion of the CFSC.
The Firearms Possession and Acquisition License (PAL) is a document issued by Justice Canada. It is obtained after completing a license application (formulaire CAFC 921) available on the Royal Canadian Mounted Police website. To complete this form, you must produce a photocopy of both sides of either the Quebec Hunter's Certificate or the Certificat de réussite; either one of these certificates will be sent to you after the successful CCSMAF course.
